What can we expect from your class?

A fun class that will get you on your way to contouring your physical and mental physique! It is my goal to guide you toward becoming the strongest version of you, no matter your fitness level.

What is your favorite Lagree Fitness move?

French Twist + push ups – there is no better way to get deep in the obliques! It’s definitely a little bit of a love/hate, but it’s so incredible effective, and gets the whole body working.

What’s your favorite way to refuel after a Mega sweat sesh?

I love to drink my greens in a protein shake with a handful of dark chocolate covered almonds on the side – and of course lots of water!

What is the most influential book you’ve read?

“A New Earth” by Eckhart Tolle. This is the first book that really helped me to shift some mental habits that were not useful. I love anything that expands my mind and challenges my current worldview and belief system.

How has the Lagree Fitness method impacted you?

I had dabbled in various fitness methods over the years, but it wasn’t until I took my first Lagree class on the Megaformer that I knew I found something truly special. My first class left me both sore and wanting more! After only a handful of classes I started feeling stronger, and noticing a difference, which was incredibly gratifying. The Lagree method fit my personal philosophy of the importance of constant evolution as the key to self-improvement – which is exactly what is accomplishes.

What can we expect from your class?

My workout style is insanely intense (I should come with an advisory sticker), highly focused for anyone serious about achieving their fitness goals and steadily progressing beyond yesterday's limits. It is my mission to PUSH (with love) and positively ignite a spark in everyone I meet.

What is your favorite Lagree Fitness move?

    Plank to Pike

What’s your favorite way to refuel after a Mega sweat sesh?

Plenty of water. I like bananas and since I have a sweet tooth, the occasional Rice Crispies treat. I tend to go through phases, eating one particular dish for days or weeks until I get tired of it. The current phase has me eating Chinese chicken with broccoli on a semi regular basis. A prior phase consisted of vegetable wraps in collard leaves with a home-made honey ginger pineapple dressing (yes, I can cook). Not sure what the future phase will be...you're welcome to ask when you see me. Don't be surprised if you catch me at Krispy Kreme down the block...did I mention I have a sweet tooth?

What is the most influential book you’ve read?

While I sense this is where I'm supposed to wow you, the reader, with my profound intellect by siting a literary masterpiece that inspired me emotionally and/or spiritually, I'm morally compelled to answer honestly (I can not tell a lie). I'm a big kid at heart so I'm going to have to go with Dr. Seuss, (after taking my class you'll better understand why) specifically Fox In Sox, or perhaps more apropos would be Green Eggs And Ham...you know the one where Sam gets the reluctant cat to try something new and much to his surprise, he loves it...Thank you, thank you, Sam I am!

How has the Lagree Fitness method impacted you?

The Lagree method revolutionized not only my own personal fitness habits but the way I engage clients in their approach to training for excellence as well. After my first session on the Megaformer, the greatest lesson for me was just how much more efficiently the muscles work when the movements are slowed down forcing a more sustained prolonged contraction that is felt both concentrically and eccentrically through out the full "effective" range of motion.

What’s your favorite way to refuel after a Mega sweat sesh?

Ice Cold double IPA... after an evening class! Bananna with cashew-nutbutter after an am sesh!

What is the most influential book you’ve read?

Strengths Finder- it has a "test" you take online after and gives you your top five strengths! It's premise is that you should focus on what you are naturally good and make that stronger, at rather than always trying to fix the things that you arent as good at.

How has the Lagree Fitness method impacted you?

Kismet. I grew up competing in gymnastics, was blessed with an amazing coach who instilled in me the principles of hard work and physical fitness. In college I went on to study the human body, earning my degree in Exercise Science. We have amazing capabilities! The power of your mind on your body- to empower it, to push it, to heal it is so exciting. And I I love being an example & a catalyst! The principles we learned that work to give you results are exactly what Lagree and the megaformer put into action!! You can only get results by fatiguing a muscle!! The absolute best way to strengthen a muscle is to work the muscle in an isolated hold... The lagree method takes these basic principles and applies them in an amazing, constantly evolving, awesome format... So in a sense, with Lagree Fitness, I found home. After all thats where your heart is❤️

    Water, water and more water.

What is the most influential book you’ve read?

How has the Lagree Fitness method impacted you?

As a competitive runner and fitness instructor, I love physical challenges. I have found the Lagree Fitness Method equal parts mentally and physically challenging. The slow controlled movements require full concentration and physical engagement. Every workout brings out my inner warrior!
